Description
Ecoation is seeking a Product UX Designer to lead our design efforts in creating intuitive and delightful user experiences. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of our product, from conceptualizing new features to refining existing ones. Your expertise in user research, interaction design, and visual design will be key in crafting solutions that meet our users’ needs and drive engagement. Working closely with our development and product teams, you’ll turn insights into beautiful, functional designs that enhance our user experience and contribute to our product’s success.
In addition to completing UX designer tasks, you will also have the responsibilities of collaborating as a project manager, keeping an eye on business goals for the product along with user needs, plotting the direction of the product and customer feedback even after it launches. Own every phase of the design process, including the final stages as developers code and launch the final product.
Duties & Responsibilities
● Design user-centric interfaces and experiences for web and mobile applications
● Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate product goals into innovative design solutions
● Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions
● Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new features and improvements
● Ensure design consistency and coherence across the entire product
● Conduct user research, such as user interviews at customer greenhouses, prototype testing, card sorting, and more conduct competitive analysis
● Use research data to determine what users want and where their pain points lie
● Create personas and journey maps
● Create site maps and other information architecture deliverables and UX deliverables using design tools like Invision, Figma, etc
● Create wireframes and prototypes
● Collaborate with a cross-functional team
● Collaborate with stakeholders to contribute on product roadmaps
● Coordinate with development team during implementation to update prototypes, expand on specifications, and test features in the development and testing environments prior to sprint demos and working on release notes, and required training for customer success teams
● Collaborate with product and sales team and support the creative marketing areas
Education, Skills & Experience
● Proven experience as a Product Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills
● Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
● Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and responsive design
● Experience in conducting user research and usability testing
● Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
● Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate design ideas and prototypes
● Graduate degree in Design, or a related field is preferred
● Experience working in Agile development processes

$85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
